GCW has recently come to terms on the merger between GCW (Global Championship Wrestling) and AWE (American Wrestling Elite).
This is sure to shake things up. It appears that Global Championship Wrestling now has two heavyweight champions. The GCW Champion Muddbone, and the AWE Champion Johnny Slaughter.
On April 18th, 2009 GCW will make history as it starts filming its bi-weekly Television and
Internet tapings. Be sure to get your tickets in advance as they will go fast. Be sure to check back for
more information.
On March 28th, 2009 the Money Makers defeated David Young and Dynamo to become the new Tag team Champions.
