George Culkin, who was a longtime promoter in Mississippi in the 60's and 70's passed away on Saturday at the age of 78.
Culkin promoted for Leroy McGuirk and later for Bill Watts in Mississippi and later branched off and formed his own territory before returning to promote for Watts until he retired in 1988.
Culkin was also a political figure in Vicksburg holding public office for nearly 20 years.
