Fans started to charge the ring after a wrestling fan fest in CA. Many fans were arrested for nearly starting a riot. This happened with a new promoter advertised The Outsiders, Sid Vicious, Kurt Angle, and many others. He did come through with some big matches in Team 3D vs. Steiner Bros, Steve Corino vs. Sandman, and Gail Kim vs. Miss Brooks. That's about it and it drove the crowd mad! People started to chant "boring" during the tag team match between Dr. Death Steve Williams teaming with Koko B.Ware against the team of Greg "Hammer" Valentine & Honky Tonk Man. Roddy Piper was seen slapping the promoter and spitting in his face after a check bounced. Not a good day for wrestling fans in the Cow Palace!
