Though it's on every news site possible that Paul Heyman was FIRED from not only being the 2nd head writer for ECW but also WWE in general as well. Though when the New AWA put Heyman's photo on their website, WWE quickly sent word to AWA to remove the photo due to Heyman still being under contract.
Now they plan on using "ECW" as a development territory with talent and crew from Ohio Valley Wrestling based out of Louisville, KY ran by "Nightmare" Danny Davis (of the Continental Wrestling fame) and formerlly James E. Cornette and Dr. Tom Prichard. More than likely Tommy Dreamer and newly signed talent coach Barry Windham will take Heyman's place until futhur notice.
Though when Heyman was in OVW he was quickly criticized but later praised for the work he did when Jim Cornette left for TNA. Which is also odd the relationship that seems to be building piece by piece by members within WWE and TNA. Just look at the talent, staff, and TV station!
I really don't see Paul Heyman heading to TNA unless it was for a 3 month spot to run Paul E. Dangerously since TNA is bringing back the Tag Team and Cliques that make things a bit more interesting. WWE has mentioned TNA more than a dozen times since Kurt Angle left the company. Lita, Jazz, Molly, and Ivory are expected to make appearances in TNA throughout 2007.
I think WWE will keep Heyman under their wing just for the sake of what he could do with any other company now that he's out of debt. Pretty much the same reason Eric Bischoff still has a job. I say this whole thing is a work so shoot me haha!
