Word has it that "The Franchise" Shane Douglas (co-creator of Hardcore Homecoming and Forever Hardcore) is to have landed a new television deal to air in several markets that were best known as ECW territories. Douglas has been very careful not to make any type of ECW references or infringements of the trademark which is a good business move. Instead he is showing that before there was an "ECW" there was "Hardcore". New Jack running through the hall before the show with a chainsaw really got the crowd into last night's event. 3-D made their debut, bad break for the "Dudley Boyz" if you ask me. How can Vince screw guys like the Dudley Boyz, Spike Dudley, Justin Credible, & Vader out of using their ring names to make a living outside of the WWE? It's a damn shame! A new promotion name is in the works for the TV Deal but as of right now it will be the Hardcore Homecoming Tour.
