First of all I'd like to thank all my fellow crappers for all the long, continued support, and prayers you've been giving me. Secondly, I'd like to wish everyone a great Christmas, and all the best in the New Year. Thirdly, I received some VERY encouraging news this past Monday. My tumor is SHRINKING AGAIN! On the scan, my doctor said she had to look very closely and slowly at the scan or she may have missed the tumor. It now looks like just a small dot on the scan. We're trying to finish it off now, as I went through another round of chemo on Monday, and get a follow-up dose this Monday. The plan is two more rounds, then hopefully the tumor will be gone, and we'll talk about preventative maintenance chemo. I was sooooo relieved, you guys.
Before the blood transfusion, I was getting a few negative thoughts creeping in. Now I feel good again, and confident I'll be getting a second chance at life.
I'm not ready to go skiing like I read Dr. Death Steve Williams is (That is great for him! Go Steve!), but I'm feeling good. I'm not out of the woods yet, but as I've been telling my son for years since he was a baby, "I'm the biggest, baddest gorilla in the jungle!" I'll find my way out soon. God bless you all, and thanks again for everything. Merry Christmas!
