Thanks to GCW's Birney for this post at www.gcwpro.com
Hiya folks, and a big hello to my pal Murdoch Sez, GCWs Senior Official Birney Kawanawitz here.
Here's a quick run-down as I remember...
1- Nasty Kritter "Scum" vs. Cotton-Eyed Joe. Cotton-Eyed Joe for the 1-2-3!
2-Adam Armor vs. Sgt. Hammer. Hammer wins.
3-Molia Hosaka vs. Josie. Josie wins!
4-The Dragon vs.El Mexicano. El Mexicano wins this "Hair vs. Mask" challenge despite Molia Hosakas interference. She cripples El Mexicano with a low blow after his win. Dragon followed up with a Death Valley Driver, Seeing that referee Sully Tremayne had lost control of the match, Deputy referee Genni Johnson and I hit the ring, disarmed Molia Hosaka, who had intentions of cutting El Mexicanos hair. I excersised my authority and demanded that the Dragon remove his mask, as dictated in the terms of the match. He refused, and when he tried to run from the ring, my trusty staff and I grabbed hold and El Mexicano jumped in to remove the Dragons mask! Unfortunately, Molia was standing by with a towell and covered the Dragons head. Congadulations El Mexicano!
5-"Maddog" Dan Sawyer and Scotty Blaze vs. Theodore Tutwiler III and Harley Wood. Teddy and Woody win again. But I was told by the crowd on hand that Maddog was hit with a championship belt while my back was turned {Thanks a lot Howard C. Cross!}. Poor Maddog was a bloody mess. My apologies to Maddog , Scotty, and everyone else. I'll do better in the future, I promise!
6-TNAs "Showtime" Eric Young vs. Muddbone {Howard C. Cross, Mansger}. Eric was tremendously entertaining, but Muddbone was all business. Luckily Howards interference in the match back-fired and Eric Young wins!
7-McNasty vs. Bull Buchannon. This Wrestle Birmingham fued finally came to a head in Pell City last night. These behemoths had a brutal battle leaving both with a bevy of bruises. Eventually McNasty could not make the 10 count to re-enter the ring, giving Bull the win. But Bull don't play that. He did not want this to be another inconclusive encounter. He wanted a restart to the match. Apparently so did McNasty, because he hit the ring, re-engaged full tilt. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in the ring. But I saw Bull making a cover, so I made the count 1-2-3, Bull wins again over McNasty!
A great time was had by all, but we did miss you, Katiebug, and Mr. Wrestling #3.
Looking forward to seeing you and everyone else this Saturday in Palmerdale, your pal, Birney Kawanawitz.
