Georgia Wrestling Legends Fanfest
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 8-10, 2005
Atlanta, Georgia
Rarely do we have an opportunity to meet our childhood heroes, to come face to face with legends and icons. Very soon we will have that chance.
The Georgia Wrestling Legends Fanfest is about to become a reality.
In early April 2005, more than three dozen former Georgia and NWA wrestling superstars will converge on Atlanta, Georgia for a very special 3-day weekend event. Some of the greatest names associated with Georgia Championship Wrestling in the 1970s and 1980s will be there, not only to renew old friendships (and rivalries), but to meet and greet and talk over old times with their fans.
This event will be like no other. Old-school wrestling fans have longed for the opportunity to meet, chat with and get autographs from the legendary performers from their childhood. The three-day fanfest takes place at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place Hotel on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 8-10, 2005 and will feature autograph signings with each of the wrestling legends. The convention hall will echo with the sights and sounds of the good ol' days. Many interactive events have been planned. For fans and enthusiasts, it will be a wonderful and special opportunity to celebrate a great era in wrestling history.
