On August 5, 2011 at 7pm the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham, AL will be screening the wrestling documentary "Memphis Heat". "Memphis Heat" chronicles the story of wrestling in the Deep South during the 1970's. The film has been playing to critical acclaim and sold out houses throughout the Southeast. In addition to the film, the theatre will host a LIVE 6 man tag team match featuring the star wrestlers of Global Championship Wrestling. Also, Mr. Jerry Jarrett founder of Mid South and TNA Impact Wrestling will be at the theatre promoting his new book and signing autographs.
