Not good, lost 2 or so minutes in the first round via ref stoppage. Had blood running in my eye and since it was under "amateur" mma rules which there's not too much difference. The guy I was originally suppose to fight backed out and this guy needed a fight though it was a HUGE mismatch, I'm like 5'10" or so and he was like 6'4" and just had an overall more well rounded game and I give me much respect. Me and Alex Young talked afterwards and he told me it was an honor to get in the ring with me especially since I trained for the fighter who backed out and took this fight under 2 weeks and had no idea about this guy. I had a lot of fun and it was a great experience. I'm taking a short break from MMA though I was suppose to fight in Huntsville this weekend and in Florence in December. I'm going to take a new approach in training with new partners and drop down to the Middleweight Class. I have to win my next fight, my amateur record is 4-3-1 now and I don't want it to be 4-4-1 so I'm going to train hard for my next fight.

I'm going to have my first wrestling match on the 24th in Vernon, FL in quite some time and looking forward to it. I need to take a break from MMA even though the real money is in the new rising sport my heart is in pro-wrestling.

I will be making a press release regarding some show that were canceled a while back that I had nothing to do with but I was the poster child for the DWA promotion so I will explain all next week right here and on our MySpace site at www.myspace.com/pwu2008
