Finally Raven has become the NWA champ....but why now? Finally after months of static about Jarrett holding the belt simply because of family ownership (like Triple H), A.J. Styles won the belt. The reasoning for Jeff's long title reign was that he has "name recognition". But at the same time, how is anybody in TNA supposed to get their name recognition if nobody puts them over? They bring in a lot of WCW'er who were not known for making anybody. Anway. the point I was originally trying to make, did they give the belt to Raven because A) they belive it's his destiny (and/or he deserved it) B) because he has more name recognition now due to the recent ECW resurgence C) that he might be receiving other offers also due to the ECW revival & they're giving him a reason to stick around
