What venue do you plan on being at in Moulton? I know that Ultimate NWA ran the Rec center in Nov 2003, May 2004, Nov 2004, and are going back in March 2005. This must be a Travis Henry show because this sounds like something he would do again. Nothing like someone trying to flood the town with wrestling, NWA, OCW and now XAW. I hate it when a promotion does well in a town and then someone esle tries to run it. Good Job Kid!

I am not crackhead Travis Henry. I am Romeo Blood, I am the booker for XAW. One thing to know is Travis and Mickey are no longer allowed in Moulton Rec Center. Neither one of the owners of XAW are related in anyway to the Henrys. We are a traveling show like Ultimate NWA is. The reason we selected Moulton on that date, we would officially have our promotion together. We are also booking a show in Hanceville, Jasper, Russelville, and a few other places. So to anyone who thinks we are ACW or any other promotion come out Friday night Feb 11, 2005 and find out. Yes it is at the Moulton Rec Center. Thank you

That is such a lame reason to run Moulton, because "we would officially have our promotion together". If that is the case do a show in Hartselle since that is where one of your posts says you are from. I have no respect for untrained backyarders getting a ring and trying to run a show in towns that have promotions there already. OCW is there every week. THE ONLY REASON YOU ARE RUNNING MOULTON IS BECAUSE YOU SEE 2 OTHER PROMOTIONS DOING WELL THERE! You say you are not Travis Henry but this is something the Henry family would do.
Jasper - Mike Jackson has been running there for 2 years and will be back Saturday Jan 15th. THE ONLY REASON YOU ARE RUNNING A SHOW IN JASPER IS BECAUSE YOU SEE JACKSON DOING GOOD THERE!
Hanceville - UCW has ran there for 3 years now and done fairly well. They were there Jan 2nd and are returning Feb 13th. THE ONLY REASON YOU ARE RUNNING A SHOW IN HANCEVILLE IS BECAUSE YOU SEE UCW DOING GOOD THERE!
ARE YOU GOING TO RUN THE SAME JC ARENA?
DIDNT YOU WORK FOR MICKEY?
Russellville - Now there is a town no one is running. That would be a good town to get a start in. A town that probably has not been run since 1998. A town XAW could make a name for itself. Instead XAW will run towns that other promotions are currently running. Call me stupid, wrong, old school or whatever, but I have forgotten more about wrestling than you will ever know.
Again, this is something Mickey and Travis would do. It's a shame and I think it is pathetic XAW has to get its start this way.
I am all for new promotions that work hard and build towns. You just want a crowd handed to you. Copy Cat promoting is a sorry way to start out.
YOU WOULD EARN MORE RESPECT FROM THE WESTLING COMMUNITY AND FANS BY RUNNING AND BUILDING A TOWN THAT DOES NOT HAVE A WRESTLING SHOW THERE.
Could you please tell me again why Moulton and now why Hanceville & Jasper?
Are you running JC Arena in Hanceville, Home of UCW?
How long have you been promoting? wrestling?
Who trained you?
Did you work for Mickey Henry?

For one thing I have been wrestling for 7 yrs. I was trained at SOCW(Southern Ohio Championship Wrestling) I was trained by John Jonson and Dick Carver. I did work for Mickey a few years ago, but like many others I moved on. I know up north promotions run in the same town all the time. So with us running in a town that some one else does, we are not trying to hurt other promotions just giving fans a different show. Its really funny that you are the only to criticize us, since everyone else has nothing but encouragement for us. As for us being a bunch of backyarders that is the most insulting statement you could make to us. None of us are backyarders, we are all trained workers. We are running shows in the areas I mentioned because we are doing different areas not just one or two places. I dont think Will or Vinny has a problem with us running in the same towns they do, if they do they can contact me at xawprowrestling@yahoo.com. Where we can get it resolved like adults. We are doing what a few of us have done before in other promotions thru out the wrestling business, run a travel show. So instead of hating on promtions why dont you support the fact that there are promotions out there giving fans a great form of entertainment.

Honestly I think more the marrier. CCW runs Wetumpka and DWA runs Montgomery. We are no more than 15 minutes apart but we have a working relationship with each other and help each other promote our shows. Maybe UCW/OCW/XAW whoever you guys are talking about could benefit from doing the same thing.

Back to the topic at hand.
For women wrestlers I suggest booking Hell Kat, Anita Dyck aka Izabella, or a name like Nidia, Ivory, Jazz, etc... if you want to book any of them just e-mail me at born2bleed@netzero.com

Way to beat around the bush kid. No logic at all. You have completely missed my point. I would be very encouraging if you went to a new town without wrestling and promoted it.
I do encourage you to have a show.
I discourage and think its pathetic to run a town other promotions run regularly.
YOU SAY AND I QUOTE "So with us running in a town that some one else does, we are not trying to hurt other promotions just giving fans a different show."A DIFFERENT SHOW?
North Alabama is flooded with wrestling. Extremely saturated to say the least. They have plenty of different shows, all within a 45 mile radius. MCW - Falkville ACW - Boaz ACW - Cullman OCW - Moulton GCW - Birmingham RCW - Hunstville UCW - Hanceville UCW - Moulton
There is not much, if anything else left to do different in wrestling. Most of what you see in westling has been repeated over and over again. NO ONE CAN BE THAT DIFFERENT
You say and I quote. "We are running shows in the areas I mentioned because we are doing different areas not just one or two places." THIS IS NOT AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTION.
I understand you say you want to do different areas, not just one or two place. But listen to yourself, you are not doing areas that are different. You are running 3 towns that have regular shows there.
Why not Hartselle? That is where you say you are based out of. I encourage and support your idea to run Russellville and any other town that does not have a promotion already there. There are plenty of towns not being run.
Could you please tell me again (specific details, with valid points) why Moulton and now why Hanceville & Jasper?

One reason is the rent on venues. Moulton, Jasper, and Hnaceville have descent price venues. We are gonna run in other towns I am just waiting on community league basketball season to end so we can run in other towns. We have checked with Killen, Russellville, Guntersville, and a few other place but most of the use their facilities for community league basketball. So asnwer your question we are running shows in those towns beacuse the venues were reasonable price. I have a question for you... have you ever worked up north like Philly area? I know when I worked in Ohio there were atleast 30 promotions within a hour radius. So just because there are 7 promotions in the area, all that means is there are 7 ways to run a show. So instead of putting us down for atleast trying to run a show, why dont you support local shows.
