I know this board is mostly for northern indies but I was wondering if anyone knew what was up with Elite Championship Wrestling. They haven't had a show I've known about for some time. Just wondering if they were closed down. It'd be a shame too, they were real good.

I never understood why they would want to use the letters ECW in their promotion. Suprised they didn't get sued by the WWE or someone affiliated with the real ECW.

Jason Zero is the biggest thief in the history of wrestling in southeast Alabama aside from Pedro the FATASS who has been arrested so many times its not even funny anymore. He like most of the other rejects that wrestle for ECW have been blackballed in every other fed in the area so they decided to group together and form a group using talent from TNA because they can't draw 25 people to a building themselves so they get Jason to steal money to bring in bigger talent and then have the balls to put themselves over on the bigger names. Jason Zero has stolen money from sew, awf and law and is gonna end up like FATASS Pedro behind bars where he belongs.

[glow=red,2,300]TEXT[/glow]TEXTlisten up this is the deal with ECW-and we are not dead! we just got done locking down new brockton and will be running there and all over florida soon! we will have our 1 year anniversery in april with ANARCHY in APRIL! guarenteed to be a BLOW-OUT! we are in the process of obtaining our own building, and for everyones information the reason ELITECW hasent run any shows lately is because JASON HEROs girlfriend is pregnant and he has taken some time away from the business to prepare for that. ECW is alive and well and all of their workers are still there-and as for the other guy on this board talking sh!T- you need to wake up and spell your azz punk! everybody knows by now that AWF and KURT STOUT made up that theif BULLSH!T about jason because jason didnt want to marry his worn out RAT daughter! even luscious larry acknowledges this now and posted it on several sites and apologized to jason personally! whoever posted this ecwDEAD bullsh!t is a jealous UNTRAINED backyard MARK! and WE KNOW who YOU ARE NUMBNUTS so next time just bring your azz to one of our "SORRY" shows and talk that sh!t to our faces or in front of our "SORRY-AZZ" 1200 head crowd that also burns your AZZ that we stole from you- you soap-droppin bend-over-boy!

Well to start off. I know nothing about Elite CW, but I did see something on WTVY Channel 4 about wrestling returning to New Brockton. I can't remember if they actually used the word "banned", but because of several incidents, they're hasn't been any shows for a long time. Alcohol seemed to be the prime motivator, according to the newscaster. They didn't mention the name of the promotion bring back the shows, but they would donate a percentage of the gate to charity. That probably did a lot to alleviate any lingering bad feelings about former promotions.

the people you saw,and refering to as banned from new brockton is SXW owned by WILL PRITCHARD and they have a bad reputation for drinking and being belligerant not paying for the buildings they rent and being completly unprofessional. no one in alabama will let them hold a show nor florida either. thats why they now run in places like kookamunga,GEORGIA and places were there roster out numbers the towns population. EliteCW has not run in new brockton yet nor has it been barred or banned from anywere.

Just to clarify things, I wasn't accusing Elite of being the banned group, just that maybe they were the ones mentioned on the news attempting to use the building there in New Brockton. And as far as the drinking part goes, maybe beer was sold at the previous shows & some fans overindulged & got rowdy.

no harm taken-i understand what you meant, but drinking, as far as i know, has never been allowed at any shows in south alabama (in recent years). but the drinking that i refered to, that caused SXW problems was not going on in the crowd, but in their dressing room, by most of there workers. now theres not many workers in this businuss that havent did something like that themselves, but when your in the ring the difference between a couple brewskis verses bottles of jim beam and a dozen empty 12packs,could be the difference between a good match or a ride to the hospital. some fans at that particular show said they smelled the STRONG ODER of liquer and beer if the wrestlers walked too closely the the fans. not to mention the absolute MESS they left for them to clean up not in the crowd, but in the dressing room!

First of all I am not here to disparage any organization, be it Elite CW, SXW, Continental, LAW, AWF or any organzation in the Southeast AL area. However when I see other people particularly workers doing this I just don't know what to think. Other message boards have been either cleared or shut down due to these unneccessary attacks against others. I have been to several shows to include AWF, LAW, Continental, SXW and Elite CW. All these organizations seem to have the same mix of talent and crowds. I think the one thing over the past few years that has hurt all of them in the long run. The Dothan area is not large enough for several organizations to run together. The main question in this string of topics has been was Elite CW dead. I don't believe so. I have read all the posts and see the reasons they had to take a short hiatus from shows. I can't wait for Elite CW to make their re-appearance soon, their shows have been sorely missed. As far as workers using alchohol at shows. I've been close to the wrestler's and have never seen any beligerent or drunk, even at the SXW shows. Maybe this behavior was tolerated in the past I don't know, but I know what I have experienced.

To the Elite Worker That Said That Jason Zero Never Stole Money .You need to wake up from that Dream world you're in It is a well known fact that he is a Thief He stole T V money from Will Prichard, And L A W , And A W F I know this Because I am one of the Advertiser that He Riped OFF Thats Why he quit Wrestling . If he is so great and honest WHY does he NOT wrestle for any other federation. The Best thing that can Happen to Elite CW is for Hero to Leave.
